Dr. Uzoamaka OgwoÂ

Dr. Uzoamaka OgwoÂis an academic and Research Staff in the National Centre for Energy Research and Development, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She had her professional training at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science, (Library/Botany), (withSecond Class Honours) in 2006, a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science (with Distinction) in 2010 and Ph.D in Library and Information Science, in 2015.

She is a vibrant academic Librarian and is currently the Head of Library and ICT Units at the National Centre for Energy Research and Development, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She is a beneficiary of the Carnegie-Funded CPD Programme hosted by the University of Pretoria, South Africa in 2017. She has a good mastery of computer skills and its applications. She is a Principal and Chartered Librarian. She is a member of the National Library Association (NLA) of Nigeria. She is also a member and the current Financial Secretary of the Solar Energy Society of Nigeria. She has published a good number of books and journal articles.

Her research interests include Information and Communication Technologies in Libraries, preservation of digital resources, cloud computing, citation analysis, open access, social networking, library extension services, and current issues in libraries.
